Times of Refreshing

Acts 3:19 — “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”

The Weight We Carry

Sin always takes more than it gives. It weighs us down with guilt, distances us from God, and drains our joy. The longer we carry it, the heavier it becomes. But Acts 3:19 offers us a gift: when we repent and turn back to God, the weight is lifted, sins are wiped out, and times of refreshing come.

Repentance doesn’t deplete us—it restores us.

The Power of Turning Back

Repentance is more than saying sorry—it’s a turning. It’s choosing to step off the path of sin and walk toward the God who is ready to forgive. The promise isn’t condemnation—it’s restoration. The moment we turn back, He meets us with grace.

This turning is where true refreshment begins. Guilt is replaced with peace, shame with joy, and distance with closeness.

Renewal in His Presence

“Times of refreshing” are more than a moment of relief—they are seasons of renewal where the Spirit breathes new life into weary souls. When we walk in repentance, we live lighter, freer, and filled with the strength that only God can provide.

Repentance clears the way for revival in our hearts.
