The Watchman’s Call
Share
“I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night.” — Isaiah 62:6 (NIV)
Eyes Wide Open. Spirit Alert.
In ancient times, watchmen were more than guards.
They were the first to see danger coming — and the first to sound the alarm. Their responsibility wasn’t just military — it was moral. If they failed to speak, people fell. If they stayed silent, lives were lost.
In today’s world, God is still calling watchmen — and you might be one of them.
If you're a father who prays protection over your household…
A mother who intercedes for her children…
A believer who refuses to go along with cultural compromise…
You're on the wall.
Stand Your Post
Being a watchman today means more than just scrolling headlines and reposting memes.
It means being spiritually awake when others are distracted. It means praying when no one else is. Speaking truth when it’s unpopular. Holding the line when others give in.
And like Isaiah 62:6 reminds us — you don’t get to clock out.
Watchmen don’t just watch — they warn.
They intercede.
They stay ready — day and night.
In your workplace. In your marriage. In your community.
If God has you in a position of influence — even quietly — it’s not random.
The Wall Is Worth It
It’s not easy standing watch while others sleep.
It can feel lonely. Pointless. Exhausting.
But don’t step down.
Because your obedience today could change someone’s tomorrow.
You may never know this side of heaven what your presence on the wall prevented — or protected. But God sees. He honors it. And He’s looking for more believers who will answer that call.
WEEKLY CHALLENGE
Ask God to show you your post.
Where has He placed you to be spiritually alert? In your family? Your work? Your church?
Then commit to be faithful to that wall — even if no one else sees.
At Kingdom+Country, we believe God is still raising up men and women who stand watch in prayer, who speak truth without fear, and who carry faith like fire.
⚔️ Hold the line.
🕯 Keep watch.
📖 Stay rooted.
Because you’re not just a spectator — you’re a watchman in this generation.
This is Kingdom+Country.
Faith. Truth. Courage.

As a Men’s Minister, I teach the joy of being a man, leader, father and protector. Nehemiah was such a man. Builder, Watchman and leader. There is NO toxic masculinity, just toxic men influenced by satan. Stand up Men, YOU are the leaders mandated by Christ to be thread of the household, leaders in the church AND in society. Psalm 144
